Services

At Mindful Clarity Psychiatric Solutions, PLLC, Matt specializes in treating clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and difficulty controlling emotions. Upon intake, Matt will work with you to determine how to address your unique situation and concerns. Your individual treatment plan will include medications and therapeutic interventions tailored to your needs. The vast majority of Matt’s clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month, and sustained improvement thereafter. Matt uses the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing in his psychotherapeutic interventions. Whether the focus is on how your thoughts affect your behavior, emotions affect your thoughts, or what it takes to commit to positive behavior change is entirely up to you and can change from session to session.

Telehealth

Psychiatric telehealth services refer to the ability to connect with your mental health provider while in the comfort of your own home or even on the go. You can conveniently access the telehealth video platform from anywhere in Florida using a computer, smartphone, or any smart device with a camera and video feed. The video platform is HIPAA-compliant.

Confidential call and text

Whether you need to set up an appointment or have questions between visits, you can reach out via call or text to the confidential and HIPAA-compliant telephone number at the bottom of this screen. Matt will respond to your message within 24 hours. Please note that these communications are not meant to replace psychiatric appointments, and so only limited information can be provided.

Medication management

If indicated, we will start medication at the first visit and meet periodically to adjust based on your response to treatment. Appointments will be spaced out as symptoms stabilize, and time between sessions can be up to 3 months.

Laboratory testing

Mental and physical health are inseparable. To ensure optimal outcomes, bloodwork is often required. Relevant lab work includes checking liver and kidney function for insight into medication metabolism; assessing thyroid function to rule out a physical cause to psychiatric symptoms; and periodically evaluating a lipid profile to ensure that certain medications are safe to initiate and maintain.
